What to check

  1. Operating environment: temperature, vibration, damp or wash-down
  2. Panel cut-out, flange diameter and fixing holes against your own panel
  3. Impedance and power against the amplifier or vehicle audio system
  4. What the IP rating covers: on these parts it applies to the front, once built into a sealed enclosure
  5. Terminals, and whether a 100 V line transformer is needed
  6. For AVAS: the requirement or specification you are working to
