The WF 130 ND combines a polypropylene cone, rubber surround and neodymium magnet to keep installation depth and weight down without giving up bass and midrange quality. A fabric grille integrated into the basket front protects the air gap and voice coil, so no separate grille is needed. This 8 Ω version takes 40 W rated power and resonates at 46 Hz.
Typical applications
- Compact hi-fi speakers
- Low-midrange in three- and four-way systems

Installation and cabinet guidance
Allow a 123 mm panel opening for a 134.4 mm frame, with 4.5 mm fixing holes on a 122.7 mm circle. The driver is very shallow: about 19.4 mm sits behind the panel and about 9.1 mm of the fabric-covered front projects in front of it, so keep the wiring clear of the rear. That depth makes it a practical choice for door panels, thin enclosures and other places where there is little room behind the baffle.
Mount it on a rigid baffle with a continuous gasket or sealing strip between the frame and the panel, and tighten the fixings evenly and only enough to seal so the frame is not distorted. The fabric grille across the basket front already protects the cone and the air gap, so a separate grille is not usually needed; if one is fitted, keep it clear of the moving parts and allow for the ±8.1 mm of travel available. The terminals take 4.8 x 0.8 mm blades on the positive side and 2.8 x 0.8 mm on the negative, so blade size identifies polarity; observe it and use an amplifier or crossover suited to the 8 Ω load.
The lower cut-off depends on the enclosure volume and tuning, so test the driver in the intended enclosure at the intended listening level before finalising the cabinet. A shallow driver in a shallow cabinet leaves little air behind the cone, so check cone travel at the level you intend to use.
