The FRS 7 A is suited to narrow speaker columns, equipment monitoring and electronic instruments. It uses 2.8 × 0.8 mm blade terminals for both polarities, distinguishing it from the solder-lug FRS 7.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Check the required panel opening against the actual speaker before cutting. Allow space for the frame, fixing slots and rear connections. Optional grille: 2312.

Use a protected mounting position and keep the rear connections dry. The waterproof cone does not make the complete driver or installation waterproof.

Use an amplifier suitable for the 8 Ω load and observe terminal polarity. For a 100 V line system, connect through a suitable line transformer; do not connect the driver directly to the line.
