Description

The PX 10 HF combines a main cone and a piezoelectric tweeter in one basket. A polypropylene cone resists water at the diaphragm surface. Its recessed tweeter leaves a flatter front profile for fitting behind a shallow grille or cover. Check the 92 mm cutout and rear clearance against the drawing.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Check the 92 mm cutout, fixing layout and space for the magnet, terminals and front grille. Nominal speaker size alone does not establish vehicle compatibility.

Connect to a compatible 4 Ω amplifier output using the 4.8 × 0.8 mm (+)/2.8 × 0.8 mm (-) terminals, maintaining polarity. Keep leads clear of window mechanisms and moving trim.

Support the basket evenly without distorting it. Leave the cone and tweeter clear of trim, grille and fixings.

The tweeter is recessed, but a flat cover must still leave clearance for cone movement.

A waterproof cone does not give the complete speaker an IP rating. Protect the basket, terminals and installation from direct water exposure.
