Description

The DL 18/2 SQ places a 17 cm coaxial driver behind a white metal grille and plastic frame. Four screw-operated clamps secure it in a square cutout. It handles 40 W in 8 Ω operation, or connects to a 100 V line at 6 W, 3 W or 1.5 W through its transformer.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Check the 187 × 187 mm cutout, 220 × 220 mm face and 5–33 mm clamping thickness range. Leave room behind the 63 mm overall body for the terminals and cables.

With the amplifier off, choose either the 8 Ω input or a marked 100 V transformer tap. Never connect a 100 V line to the 8 Ω input; insulate unused leads.

Tighten the four clamps evenly against a sound mounting surface. Protect the rear wiring and do not treat the IPX3 rating as permission for immersion or an unprotected outdoor installation.
