Description

The DL 25 houses a 13 cm coaxial driver behind a white 245 mm face. Four clamps secure it in a ceiling opening, while the magnetic grille removes for access. It can connect through its 100 V transformer taps or an 8 Ω input, making it suitable for music and speech in shops, homes and hotels.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Prepare a 212 mm circular cut-out for the 245 mm face. Tighten its four mounting clamps to secure the unit and refit the magnetic grille. Allow for the 150.5 mm depth shown in the dimension drawing, plus access for the connections and cable. Check the panel can support the complete fitting.

Choose either a 100 V line tap (20, 10, 5 or 2.5 W) or the 8 Ω connection to suit the sound system. Use the marked terminals and do not combine the two input arrangements. Keep the selected transformer tap within the amplifier’s available line capacity.

For concrete or fire-protection ceilings, select a suitable separate housing for the complete installation. The speaker alone does not establish a fire rating for the ceiling.
