Description

The PL 5 RV fits speech reproduction into a small panel opening. Its threaded ring secures the plastic housing without separate fixing screws, and a high-pass filter increases power handling. The 4 Ω speaker comes with a 1 m cable and open ends; it is suited to dashboards, doors and other vehicle panels.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Prepare a 44 mm circular opening. The front is 54.1 mm in diameter and the drawing shows 24 mm behind the front mounting face. Fit the speaker through the opening and secure it with its threaded ring; the maximum panel thickness is 10.5 mm. Leave room for the cable behind it.

Connect the supplied 1 m cable to an amplifier suitable for 4 Ω, observing the polarity markings. Keep the cable supported and clear of moving trim or door parts. The rated power is 10 W. The rear label identifies brown as positive and blue as negative; retain the supplied high-pass filter in the cable.

The protection marking is IP4X; it does not specify water protection. Plan the installation accordingly.
