Description

The PL 7 RV concentrates on the frequency range needed for speech. A threaded ring on the plastic housing secures it in a round panel opening without extra fixing screws. This ncs s 3000-n grey version has a 8 Ω impedance, handles 10 W and includes a 0.6 m cable for use in dashboards, doors or other vehicle panels.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Prepare a 64.5 mm circular opening. The front is 76 mm in diameter and the drawing shows 34.5 mm behind the front mounting face. Fit the speaker through the opening and secure it with its threaded ring; the maximum panel thickness is 7.5 mm. Leave room for the cable behind it.

Connect the supplied 0.6 m cable to an amplifier suitable for 8 Ω, observing the polarity markings. Keep the cable supported and clear of moving trim or door parts. The rated power is 10 W.

For installations needing a spacer, the matching optional DR PL 7 RV ring is grey part 4489. It is a separate accessory. Check the colour and impedance before ordering.

The protection marking is IP4X; it does not specify water protection. Plan the installation accordingly.
