Description

The R 10 S-TR combines a full-range cone with a transformer and a five-pin spring terminal. It provides a compact mounting format for 100 V speech systems, with a dedicated earth connection from the transformer to the terminal. The manufacturer lists 6 W, 3 W and 1.5 W transformer taps.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Check the 93 mm cutout, 102 × 102 mm frame and 71 mm overall depth. Allow space for the rear transformer and five-pin terminal when positioning the speaker.

The current pin assignment gives black COM, brown 6 W, red 3 W and white earth. It does not identify the 1.5 W tap by colour: confirm its marked terminal on the supplied unit before using that setting. White is an earth connection, not a power tap.

Include the chosen tap in the 100 V amplifier load calculation. Protect and strain-relieve the wiring; never connect through an unmarked terminal.

No IP rating is stated for this version. Protect the rear transformer and terminals within the completed installation.
