Description

The R 10 SC adds magnetic shielding, a water-repellent cone and rubber gasket to a compact driver for public transport and other public interiors. Its 150 mm cable ends in a spring-terminal connector that can be secured using catch pins. The manufacturer lists 6 W, 3 W and 1.5 W transformer taps.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Check the 102 × 102 mm frame and 78.5 mm overall depth. Use the revised drawing in the datasheet for the mounting holes, allowing space for the transformer, 150 mm cable and connector.

With the amplifier off, connect the line common to black, and select brown for 6 W, red for 3 W or yellow for 1.5 W. Insulate unused taps and secure the spring-terminal block.

Include the chosen tap in the 100 V amplifier load calculation. Protect and strain-relieve the wiring; never connect through an unmarked terminal.

The stated IP64/IP67 protection applies to the front in a sealed enclosure, potentially requiring adhesive and a protective grille. It does not make the exposed transformer, connector or complete open-backed assembly submersible.
