The SC 5.9 OM combines a narrow oval frame with a strong magnetic drive for clear multimedia sound. It suits compact speaker systems and compatible internal flat-screen TV replacements. This 4 Ω version handles 10 W rated power and weighs 140 g, with a 43 × 82 mm oval mounting opening.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Allow for a 43 × 82 mm oval opening and 50.5 × 90.5 mm frame. Leave room for the magnet and terminals beyond the 29.7 mm body depth. Confirm the existing amplifier load and fixing pattern before fitting it as a replacement.

Mount on a rigid panel with a continuous seal around the frame to prevent air leaks and rattles. Keep the cone and surround clear of the grille and internal parts.

Use an amplifier suitable for the 4 Ω load and follow the polarity marks. Check blade width and thickness before choosing connectors, insulate the connections and secure the wiring clear of the moving parts.

Test the driver in the intended enclosure before fixing the cabinet design. Keep the rear acoustic space clear and check low-frequency cone travel at the intended operating level; a small driver’s usable bass depends on the enclosure and required output.
