Description

The K 50 FL is a very flat 5 cm miniature speaker for speech and signalling. This 8 Ω version has a 1 W power rating, a 46 mm cut-out and solder terminals. Its front-side IP65 rating requires the installation conditions described by VISATON.

Installation and cabinet guidance

Use the manufacturer drawing to confirm cut-out, depth and fixing positions before machining the enclosure.

Connect an amplifier suitable for the stated nominal impedance and observe terminal polarity where marked.

Mount the unit on a rigid, sealed baffle where required and keep drive within the manufacturer's rated and maximum limits.

The IP65 rating applies to the front only when fitted into a sealed enclosure; protect the rear and cable connections as required.

The manufacturer webpage and linked datasheet give different frequency, sensitivity and resonance figures. Confirm the required revision before specifying those values.
